Testing and Assessment FAQs
What tests will my student be required to take?
Students who attend Indiana Gateway Alternative School (INGAS) are required to take the following tests:
- K12 lesson assessments
- K12 unit assessments
- Math and literacy benchmark testing
- Interim assessments in math, English language arts, and some science and social studies courses
- Formative assessments
- ACT/SAT
- Career assessment
- Formative assessments
Will my student have to participate in state testing?
Yes. Families enrolling at INGAS must be willing to participate in all state-mandated testing. Enrollment is contingent upon participating in testing.
